Hello I was just wanting to send a message of hello, to Dr.Meyer. I Was hoping I could attach a picture for him to see his now 17yr old Furbaby he bamed "Speedo"that he rescued and raised, he bottlefed him until he was old enough to adopt, and then me and my daughter ( Maggie Wagner) adopted him."Speedo" of course we call himFreddie, because I loved freddy mercury , where we always kept his middle name as "Speedo" as he is still quite quick for as old as he is. he's having to be on prescription medication for kidneys , but I suppose that's typical in senior cats. Like I said , I would love to attach a picture for doctor hartman to see the big gray with accented white fluffs very , very long hair in a tail that almost resembles a raccoon , only being light gray and white. My husband Kevin Meeker, before he and I were married , always brought all his fur babies to doctor myers and kevin had many , many for babies throughout the years. i do see below where it says you can call us or text us.Perhaps I will look at the text us and see if a picture can be attached. Actually,my daughter has become a assistant surgical technician (not a vet tech)working at a veterinary practice in Maumee we're the old values city used to be off detroit avenue. I woke up last week to my 10 year old senior rabbit unable to use his back legs. My normal vet, Bird and Exotic Pet Wellness Center was not open, Medvet was not open, and I was running out of options. I called every single vet that was open to see if they had an exotic animal vet on staff and most turned me down until I found Hartman Veterinary Hospital. They were able to squeeze me in within an hour of my calling, and I waited maybe 2 minutes in the waiting room before being called back to meet Dr Myers. He was kind, compassionate, and completely understanding of how hysterical I was and tried his best to explain all of the issues my little old man rabbit was experiencing. Dr Myers and the rest of the staff were so very gentle while handling my geriatric boy. He was taken back for Xrays and not even 10 minutes later we had the results. Dr Myers believed it was an e. cuniculi flare up (and unfortunately some pretty serious arthritis due to old age) and immediately prescribed medication to begin treatment and manage my boy's pain. They explained all of the medications they were prescribing so I knew what they did, and they even labeled the syringes on each medication so I would know how much to use. I received a detailed summary of my bill without any extra charges or fees that I was used to seeing at Bird and Exotic Pet Wellness Center. The fact that they were able to see my rabbit within an hour after calling, the way they handled and treated him so sweetly and gently, Dr Myers' knowledge, and their very fair pricing will ensure that I will make them my primary exotic vet moving forward. Absolutely nothing but wonderful things to say about this vet and all of its staff combined.

Dr Myers is an excellent vet Dr and I switched from Bird and exotic wellness in Toledo because I felt my Tortoise wasn’t getting the care he needed. I was right and am very thankful for him and the staff at Hartman Veterinarian
